Feb 3, 2025 | GRANULAR, News

GRANULAR is pleased to announce its collaboration with the FUTURAL project, establishing a partnership to address the unique challenges of rural areas and promote tailored EU policies for their sustainable development.

While FUTURAL focuses on developing digital smart solutions to support rural innovation, GRANULAR provides advanced tools and datasets that empower rural stakeholders to lead public action based on data-driven insights.

This collaboration underscores the complementarity of both projects, blending FUTURAL’s technological expertise with GRANULAR’s data-centric methodologies to foster participatory innovation and sustainable rural transformation.

“By joining forces with FUTURAL, we are creating synergies that will deepen our understanding of rural communities while driving impactful solutions for their development,” noted Thierry Dupeuble, Director of CIHEAM-IAMM, on behalf of GRANULAR.

“Partnering with GRANULAR allows us to expand the potential of smart solutions and ensure they deliver meaningful results across diverse rural contexts,” stated Ari Lomis, FUTURAL Project Leader.

Together, FUTURAL and GRANULAR are paving the way for innovative solutions that strengthen the resilience and sustainability of Europe’s rural communities.
