The Latvian Replication Lab, run by PREPARE, is situated at the north of Riga: a coastal area rich of historical, coastal and fisherman heritage. The area has faced numerous transformations, starting with fishermen settlement, development of fishermen collective farming, and is now becoming a popular residential area for second home owners. The area is developing and implementing Smart Village activities and participatory planning, which requires improved data and indicators.
